What a school principal checks first
- Board and grades — CBSE, ICSE, IB, state board; which classes
- Subjects — and whether you can handle a second one
- Qualification — B.Ed, M.Ed, subject degree, CTET/TET score
- Experience — years, school names, class sizes handled
- Results — board averages, pass percentages, improvement over a cohort
Results, stated carefully
Board results depend on the students you were given. State the change rather than the absolute, and note the cohort: 'Class XII Physics average rose from 61% to 74% over three batches (avg. class size 42)' is credible and specific.

Beyond the classroom

The vocabulary changes completely. EdTech reads for scale, content production and metrics: learners taught, videos or question banks produced, completion rates, doubt-resolution volume, CSAT. Live-class teachers are effectively performers with analytics — show the analytics.

Certifications and tools
